Blogging has caused a super explosion of the online business and the way ideas across the world are transmitted. Right now I have two blogs in my reader that are from people that are more than a thousand miles away. Another reason that blogging has become such an online powerhouse is anyone can create and publish a blog which makes it possible for them to make money online. Websites like blogger and wordpress allow users to start a blog with absolutely no money or experience. This means whether you are 13 or 68 you have the ability to start your own online presence and if you take the time to blog appropriately you will reach success online.
The most important aspect of any blog is the content. If you want a larger readership you must put yourself in the shoes of the reader. What would make you not only come to a blog, but also sign up as a reader? Well for me it is content that is updated regularly which I cannot find anywhere else. You may be thinking that this does not sound hard, but after a few months of writing article after article it takes pretty much everything I have just to write my next post. Usually a burn out such as this goes two ways either the blog dies from lack of updates or the blogger such as myself truly loves the blog and finds ways to get inspiration. I remember one thing I read from an older blogger who now has over a hundred thousand readers. He said that after six months of blogging he really and truly considered giving up his blogging career and get a real job. Well it is a good thing he didn’t because the last check I did on his income he was making well over a hundred thousand dollars annually.
Now you can post and post and post, but if you don’t get the word out about your blog then it is pretty much pointless. One good way to gain exposure is link building and the website I use for building links is free web traffic.
